Role overview
This is a contract-based, remote position supporting project coordination, research, reporting, and analysis across Kaya Development's current and future consultancy assignments. Day to day, the role spans project-planning assistance, deliverable tracking, document preparation, stakeholder communication, desk research, and proposal development.
It is an entry point into project management and development consulting — a chance to work on assignments delivered for international organizations, government agencies, and private-sector clients.
Key responsibilities
- Support project planning, coordination, and follow-up
- Prepare reports, concept notes, presentations, and meeting minutes
- Conduct desk research, stakeholder mapping, and data analysis
- Support client and stakeholder communication
- Track deliverables, timelines, and action items
- Contribute to proposal and strategic-planning development
- Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning tasks
- Help ensure project delivery meets client expectations
Candidate profile
We are looking for curious, reliable, detail-oriented people who are comfortable working in a remote setting. The strongest candidates meet deadlines consistently, communicate professionally, and can juggle several tasks at once. An interest in international development, project management, institutional capacity building, or humanitarian programming is strongly encouraged.
Required skills & languages
- Excellent English proficiency (strongly preferred)
- Turkish knowledge (preferred)
- Spanish, German, French, or Italian (advantageous)
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Teams, Zoom, Trello, and Notion
- Data-visualization and AI-productivity-tool experience (beneficial)
Work authorization & responsibilities
